Bills vs. 49ers: Video and pictures from the snow game in Buffalo

The Buffalo Bills are used to hosting high-stakes games in the snow. So it’s perhaps no surprise that they handily defeated the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night.

As snow fell during the game at Highmark Stadium, the Bills defeated the 49ers 35-10. With the win, Buffalo secured its fifth consecutive AFC East title.

According to Fox Weather, the temperature should be around 27 degrees at kickoff. A lake effect snow advisory is in effect for the Orchard Park area until 7:00 p.m. ET Monday.

Over the weekend, the Bills brought in hundreds of fans to help clear snow from the stadium, just like they did last year during their playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Those fans “worked all night” to shovel more than 20 inches of snow, Bills vice president of operations Andy Major told NBC News.

Here’s a look at the snow-covered stadium before kick-off.

Some players seemed unfazed by the weather ahead of time, including 49ers tight end George Kittle and Bills tight end Dawson Knox.

In a league of his own was Buffalo receiver Mack Hollins, who strolled into the stadium in a mad scientist outfit and his signature no-shoes look.
