A First alert weather day is issued for Saturday morning. Temperatures are expected to fall to over 20°C in the Midlands. For this reason, the National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning. For counties under this freeze warning, the growing season will likely end this weekend.

Luckily, skies full of sunshine will thaw out of us on Saturday afternoon, with highs in the low 50s. A hard frost is possible across the Midlands on Tuesday morning with lows falling into the low and mid 20s! This has given rise to another reason First alert weather day.
