Brittany Murphy co-star remembers the 15th anniversary of the actress’ death

This week the 15th took placeTh anniversary of Brittany Murphy’s death, and one of her co-stars took the opportunity to remember her fondly.

Murphy died on December 20, 2009 and Katie O’Grady, who worked alongside her on her final film Something evilHe described Murphy as “a little bird that you wanted to be around and help.”

O’Grady told People According to the magazine, Murphy’s cast and crew were all concerned and attentive to Murphy’s physical and mental condition and tried to be “gentle” with her on set. O’Grady recalled that the late actress looked “frail” during filming and was noticeably “going through a difficult time.”

And O’Grady told Murphy magazine: “She created moments and created moments with everyone she met as best she could with the energy she had.”

Murphy died at her home aged 32 after speculation that she had suffered from an eating disorder and substance problems was denied by her husband Simon Monjack. The LA coroner ruled her cause of death as pneumonia and drug intoxication, as well as iron deficiency anemia. Monjack died in 2010. No charges were ever filed in any of the couple’s deaths, although Murphy’s supporters have long questioned what really happened to her.

Murphy got her big break with a role in Clueless (1995). She also appeared in Girl, interrupted And Stunningly beautiful (both 1999), 8 mile (2002), Sin City (2005) and Happy feet (2006). She also voiced Luanne Platter on Fox King of the hill for the entire period from 1997 to 2010. Something evil was finally released in 2014.
