Brown Jr. and Charlie Jones inactive while the Bengals face the Cowboys on the MNF

The Cincinnati Bengals will be without several key players on Monday night against the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium. Left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. (fibula) and defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins (illness) lead the Bengals’ inactive list for Monday night’s game. Brown The 28-year-old is dealing with a knee injury suffered in Week 7 against the Cleveland Browns. The veteran played the next week against the Philadelphia Eagles, but left the game early. He then missed each of the next three games before returning against the Pittsburgh Steelers. When Brown missed time throughout November, the Bengals turned to Cody Ford at left tackle. Rankins has 10 solo tackles and one sack in seven games played in his first season with the Bengals. Rankins has battled several injuries this season, including a hamstring injury that forced him to miss several games. He hasn’t played since last month’s game against the Baltimore Ravens while battling a viral illness. Kick returner and wide receiver Charlie Jones was inactive Monday night. The second-year player hasn’t played for Cincinnati since Week 8 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Tight end Tanner McLachlan and defensive back Daijahn Anthony are also inactive for Cincinnati. The Bengals will also be without two starters who were placed on injured reserve this week: linebacker Logan Wilson and kicker Evan McPherson. Cade York was brought in to replace McPherson. The Cowboys have running back Deuce Vaughn, linebacker Damone Clark, wide receiver Jalen Brooks, defensive end Tyrus Wheat, cornerback Andrew Booth and safety Juanyeh Thomas inactive Monday night.
