The Mali, Bamako native also needs 10 rebounds to pass Ken Roberts (1990-91, 93-96) and move into 16th place on the all-time rebounding list.

SHOOTERS NEVER DIE
The Cougars have now won 19 straight games by shooting 50.0 percent or better from the field after going 24 of 46 against Wyoming.

The closer

He is a key part of BYU’s second unit, which ranks second in the Big 12 and 28th nationally in bench points (31.6/game). After appearing in just four games last season due to a foot injury, Baker is averaging 6.5 points in the second half of the season while shooting 50.0 percent from the field, 45.8 percent from three and 80.0 percent shoots from the charity strip.

I canceled it
Trevin Knell picked up his 89th career win on Saturday, tying him with Shane Knight (1991-95) and TJ Haws (2016-20) for the 18th-most wins in program history. He also owns the 16th highest winning percentage among BYU players, having won 71.8 percent of the games he has played in.

Friday marks Knell’s 125th appearance for BYU, which is tied with Randy Reid (1992-96) for the 20th in program history.
