An NFL love story has put “Monday Night Football” in the prime-time spotlight.

Cowboys cheerleader Zoe Dale found herself in a pretty unique situation cheering on opponent Dallas on Monday night after her kicker friend Cade York signed with the Bengals to replace the injured Evan McPherson.

The cameras captured Dale’s reaction as York lined up to score an extra point after the Bengals scored a touchdown that cut Dallas’ lead to 7-6 late in the first quarter.

Dale was relieved when York scored the extra point to tie the game 7-7.

“Thank God, thank God,” she said, smiling.

“You can’t make this up,” ESPN broadcaster Troy Aikman said after the kick.

ESPN sideline reporter Lisa Salters noted that the couple has been dating for about seven months.

York, who was the Browns’ starter as a rookie in 2022, made all five of his kicks – two short field goals and three extra points.

The Bengals defeated the Cowboys 27-20 after Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow threw a 40-yard touchdown pass to wideout Ja’Marr Chase in the final minute.

“We needed a break,” Burrow said after the Bengals ended a three-game losing streak. “We don’t have many this year, but it was nice to get this one and come out of it with a win.”

York and Dale also posed for photos together courtside at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

York is from McKinney, Texas, which is about an hour from Arlington.

The LSU product, who signed with the Bengals on Dec. 4, was activated after McPherson was placed on IR with a right groin injury.

York – who was selected by the Browns in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft – started the season with Washington and went 0-2 on field goal attempts in Week 1.
