Samuel Rak-Sakyi is expected to make his full debut during Chelsea’s UEFA Conference League away game against Astana, one of ten changes to Enzo Maresca’s team.

Midfielder Rak-Sakyi came on as a substitute in our last two European games and makes his first Chelsea start in freezing temperatures in Kazakhstan.

Carney Chukwuemeka will be selected from the start and there will also be starts for academy youngsters Josh Acheampong and Tyrique George, who have both also been named to the first team this year.

Filip Jorgensen is in goal, with Acheampong expected to line up at the back alongside captain Axel Disasi, Tosin Adarabioyo and Renato Veiga.

Rak-Sakyi is expected to line up alongside Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in midfield, with Chukwuemeka likely to take on a more advanced role. Pedro Neto and George should be on the wings, with Marc Guiu up front. Neto is the only player to retain his place from Sunday’s win at Spurs.

There are nine young players on the bench, only Harvey Vale having previously played for us at senior level.

Chelsea: Jorgensen, Acheampong, Disasi (c), Tosin, Veiga, Dewsbury-Hall, Rak-Sakyi, Pedro Neto, Chukwuemeka, George, Guiu

Subs: Bergstrom, Merrick, Murray-Campbell, Olise, Wilson, Dyer, Vale, Ampah, Mhueka
