Children found, suspect in custody after suspected kidnapping in King City – KION546

KING CITY, Calif. (KION-TV) – King City police announced Saturday evening that two children were found after the CHP issued an Amber Alert for them.

Police said the suspect was in custody but gave no further information.

Amber Alert was issued Saturday evening

The CHP issued an Amber Alert on behalf of the King City Police Department Saturday evening.

The CHP identified one victim as 2-year-old Osvaldo Sebastian. He is described as being of Hispanic descent, standing about 3 feet tall and weighing about 80 pounds. According to the CHP, he has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a Spiderman sweatshirt and Snoopy pajama pants.

The second victim was identified as seven-year-old Selene Zavala. The CHP said she is also of Hispanic descent, about 3 feet tall and weighs about 100 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a white and pink sweatshirt that said “Princess Selene” and white and blue pajama pants.

The CHP said the children were last seen at Livingston Avenue and San Antonio Drive in King City.

The CHP identified the suspect in this case as 28-year-old Jacqueline Guajardo; She is described as Hispanic, approximately 5 feet tall and weighing approximately 190 pounds. The CHP added she has brown hair and brown eyes.

According to the CHP, Guajardo was last seen driving a black 2016 Nissan Altima with California license plate 9EXF349.

Anyone who sees the suspect, her vehicle or the two children is asked to call 911.
