Clemson shot brilliantly against Texas in its opening game of the College Football Playoff, taking an early 7-0 lead with a methodical opening attack that showcased precision and poise.

The Tigers covered 75 yards on 12 plays, consuming nearly seven minutes, before quarterback Cade Klubnik connected with Antonio Williams for a 22-yard touchdown strike to cap the possession. The well-executed offense set the tone early, as Clemson’s offense looked in sync from the get-go.

Klubnik was particularly efficient, completing 6 of 7 passes for 60 yards while distributing the ball to multiple receivers. The balanced attack kept the Longhorns’ defense on its toes while the Tigers converted key third downs to keep the chains moving.

Clemson’s impressive start sent a strong message in this high-stakes matchup, putting early pressure on Texas and giving the Tigers critical momentum in their quest to advance to the playoffs.
