THAT’S CORRECT. THANK YOU. All right, Kim, thank you very much. Overall very cloudy weather conditions. As we head into the afternoon, all the rain we had here this morning is finally starting to disappear from the area. THE WEATHER STORY IS NOW THE CLOUD COVER. THE AIRY CONDITIONS AND ALSO THE MUCH COOLER TEMPERATURES HERE. We mustn’t forget this as we are on the back side of a much stronger cold front that just passed through. BUT YES, it was definitely a very wet morning here for many of us in southeast Louisiana. A big wave of rain passed through there. NOW we’re finally starting to see the remnants move away from here. BUT IT’S A LITTLE MUSH, ESPECIALLY ON THE LAKESHORE. SUSTAINING WINDS ABOUT 20 MILES PER HOUR, NOW WINDS 10 TO 15 MILES PER HOUR ACROSS THE REST OF SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA. FORECAST FOR THE REST OF THE DAY. Temperatures will continue to fall. STILL VERY CLOUDY AND BROAD. LOOK AT THE TEMPERATURES NOW, ALREADY OVER 50° TO BELOW 60° ON THE NORTH COAST. So we’re starting to feel a difference there. 60° SOUTH COAST, BUT BELOW 70° TOWARDS THE COAST. FORECAST FOR TONIGHT. Partly cloudy skies, much colder and cooler as winds blow from the northeast at 10 to 15 mph. Check out the low temperatures for tomorrow morning. UPPER 20S TO LOWER 30S. Very close to the freezing mark for you on the North Coast. 30s and 40s, mainly towards the south bank. BUT FOR THIS REASON WE NOW HAVE THE COLD WEATHER ADVISORY FOR THE NORTH COAST IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TODAY UNTIL 8AM FRIDAY BECAUSE WIND COOLS ARE EXPECTED DURING THIS. DURING THIS EVENT, WHICH BASICALLY MEANS THE SEASONS WILL HAVE COLD AIR TEMPERATURES, OR IN THIS CASE, WIND COOL, WE ARE TALKING ABOUT WIND COOLING. So make sure you dress appropriately and cover exposed skin. Be aware of the forecast and monitor for possible changes. BUT TOMORROW IS INTENDED TO BE CLOUDY SKIES AND A MUCH COLDER DAY OVERALL. 54 DEGREES VERY COOL ACTUALLY. The rest of us here as well as southeast Louisiana will be in the low to mid 50s. STILL WAY BELOW AVERAGE FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. Now, as we bring you here over the next seven days, let’s start with the warm-up. AFTER TOMORROW. ON SATURDAY TEMPERATURES WILL RISE TO AROUND 60°C. LOWER 70S SUNDAY THROUGH TUESDAY, AND AFTER THAT WE WILL HAVE ANOTHER COLD FRONT PASSAGE TO DROWER OUR HIGH TO THE UPPER 50S. AS WE GO UP INTO WEDNESDAY. BUT FIRST WE NEED TO GET THROUGH THE FRONT THAT JUST WENT THROUGH. So we also look at the cloudy weather and the light breeze behind it. It looks like most of the cloud cover will most likely stay here tonight into tomorrow morning. BUT TOMORROW HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD UP IN THE NORTH SO IT SHOULD HELP GET RID OF MOST OF THE CLOUDS TOMORROW. I don’t think it will be a perfect sunny day, but we will see some scattered cloud cover here and there before more cloud development occurs. The weather could become a bit cloudy again and start to clear up heading into Friday evening. As far as the chance of rain after that, we’re pretty dry tomorrow, Saturday, as we’re watching another system develop, but we’re starting to increase the chance of rain as this next system moves into Monday and also Sunday night into Monday. And we’ll probably linger as we make our way to Tuesday. It will be much drier here until Wednesday. BUT WITH THIS NEXT SYSTEM I COULD SEE BETWEEN 2 TO 5 INCHES. HIGHER TOTAL NUMBERS ALSO POSSIBLE WITH THIS SYSTEM IN THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS. SOMETHING WE SEE HERE. And here’s a look at your WDSU initial alert for seven days. Given the overall quite cloudy weather conditions. AIRY TOO AT LEAST UNTIL FRIDAY. BY THE WAY WE HAVE A WEATHER IMPACT DAY, THIS EVENING THROUGH TOMORROW MORNING, BECAUSE THE WIND COOLING LEVELS ARE EXPECTED TO LOWER, IT ALSO LOOKS THAT THE WEATHER WILL STAY A LITTLE SO THE WEEKEND TEMPERATURES WILL BE WARM AGAIN SUNDAY AND IN THE LOW 70S TOO TUESDAY, WITH SUN
