KNOWLEDGE. If you look at your forecast, it’s just a gloomy day out there, and it looks like you’ll be in for a mild cold in the evening. Yes, it’s chilly, but if you still need to do some shopping this evening, you’ll be in good shape. NOW. THE END OF THE WEEK, FRIDAY, THE WEEKEND COLDER. But I don’t think that will stop anyone. It probably helped you get into the holiday spirit even more. Here’s what you can expect as we begin the second part of our weekend. This is a twist for colder weather. There is our rainmaker. It’s already rolling to the other side of the Appalachians. It brought a good drenching, about half an inch of rain for most people out there. BUT AS YOU CAN SEE, IT’S PRETTY QUIET. In fact, under the banner up here, high pressure will move across the Great Lakes and the Ohio Valley. THE NEXT 24 HOURS. THEREFORE THE WEATHER WILL BE CALM UNTIL THURSDAY. NOW IT IS SEASONAL FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. Yes, it’s cool, so nothing extreme. Most of us have a degree or two on either side of 40 degrees. And I don’t expect a dramatic drop in temperatures here tonight or this evening because we’ll keep a few clouds around. But when you go shopping, you’re in good shape. TONIGHT. TOMORROW, EVEN FRIDAY IS NOT BAD, BUT I WANT YOU TO BE PREPARED FOR THE COLD. AND THERE COULD BE SOME SNOW FLOWERS AND SNOW SHOWERS THROUGHOUT THE DAY ON FRIDAY. That’s why we chose FAIR. But overall, I don’t see any issues or issues that will really stop you from getting out and running those last minute Christmas errands in the next few days. THE WEATHER SUPPORTS IT. HERE WE ARE, 42, IN CINCINNATI. It feels like it’s 37 with some wind out there. 12 HOUR FORECAST. We’ll stay at around 40 for the next few hours. And if we see a few cloudbursts later tonight, temperatures will fall into the 30s. After midnight we will drop below freezing. HERE’S A LOOK AT FUTURECAST. YOU WILL SEE THE CLOUDS ARE TRYING TO STOP TONIGHT AND WE CAN REMOVE SOME OF THE LOW CLOUD COVER, BUT WE WILL JUST REPLACE IT WITH HIGH CLOUD COVER. TOMORROW IS A REAL DECEMBER DAY. You’re talking low 40s. IT’S DRY. WE WILL HAVE SOME INTERPOSAL SUN MIXED WITH CLOUDS. So another decent December day. NOT BAD FOR running ANY HOLIDAY errands or doing anything in the area. It will be quiet from tomorrow evening until Friday morning. On Friday morning we will watch a cold front break through. IT IS A CLIPPER-LIKE SYSTEM. THERE WILL NOT BE MUCH SNOW AND IN FACT THE TEMPERATURES MAY BE TERRIBLE SO THERE COULD BE A LITTLE RAIN. Okay, so a few showers and snow showers, maybe even a few sprinkles or showers on Friday. IT’S A COOL DAY. It’s a windy day. AND THERE COULD BE A FEW MORE STORMS IN THE AFTERNOON, BUT I DON’T EXPECT ANY ACCUMULATION FROM THIS SYSTEM. It’s so cold tonight that we’ll try to sneak into the upper 20s tomorrow. Partly cloudy. A mix of sun and clouds, if you will. So a nice day. 42. This is where we should actually be in mid to late December to reach our peak. So it doesn’t look like a bad Thursday at all. HERE IS YOUR SEVEN DAY FORECAST. IN ORDER. ONLY 36 ON FRIDAY. And again I made it a weather affected day because there could be at least a few wet roads on Friday morning. But it’s cold on the weekend, right? We are near freezing for our highs, our overnight lows in the teens and 20s. BUT AS I PROMISED YOU YESTERDAY, I DON’T SEE A WHITE CHRISTMAS ON THE HORIZON FOR US BECAUSE YOU’RE WATCHING THE DRAMATIC WARM-UP BEFORE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY. It’s like we’re flipping the heat switch here and seeing highs go from near freezing over the weekend, back into the 40s and up to near 50 by the Christmas holiday. So the compromise, SHERRY and ASHLEY, will be that we will be dealing with some wet weather at this point. It doesn’t look like a major flood, but probably similar to what it looks like outside today. UNFORTUNATELY FOR US IT’S JUST GRAY AND DARK. All right, KEVIN, THANK YOU SO MUCH
