Colorado Springs named top housing market for 2025

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Colorado Springs won the No. 1 spot for the top real estate market for 2025 on Tuesday, according to Realtor.com.

Realtor.com has released a list of 20 cities in the US that they believe will see “explosive sales growth” in the coming year.

The real estate agent said he gave Colorado Springs the top spot because of its “stunning mountain views, top-notch schools and a strong sense of community.”

“Bonus: Living here means the stunning Garden of the Gods Park is practically in your backyard,” said Realtor.com.

Realtor.com also said they are forecasting a 27.1 percent year-over-year increase in existing home sales in Colorado Springs in 2025.

Colorado Springs was followed by Miami in second place and Virginia Beach in third place.

Denver also made the list at number 19. Realtor.com expects existing home sales in Denver to increase 13.6 percent in 2025.

“Denver offers something for everyone, from craft beers at local breweries to concerts at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater to sporting events for the city’s four professional teams,” said Realtor.com. “The cost of housing in Denver is more affordable than many other major cities, making it an attractive choice for homebuyers.”
