CU Buffs fail to reach Big 12 title game – BuffZone

Colorado’s hopes of reaching the Big 12 title game went down to the final minutes of the regular season.

Houston almost came through for the Buffaloes, but couldn’t get himself out of the way. And in the end, CU will be home next weekend.

The 25th-ranked Buffs (9-3, 7-2 Big 12) finished the regular season in a four-way tie for first place, but No. 16 Arizona State (10-2, 7-2) and No. 18 Iowa State (10-2, 7-2) secured their spots in the conference title game, which will be played Dec. 7 in Arlington, Texas.
