CVS Health has removed photos of its executives from its website as the manhunt continues for the killer of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
The company confirmed to FOX Business on Friday that all photos of its executives have been removed. CVS declined any further comment.
UnitedHealthcare’s leadership page has also been removed and the URL is now redirected to the company’s homepage.

The move comes as the health care industry is on heightened alert after Thompson was shot Wednesday outside a midtown Manhattan hotel in what police are calling a “premeditated, targeted attack.”
The host was the Hilton UnitedHealths The annual investor conference and police said Thompson had been in town since Monday from Minnesota and lived across the street.

Police are still trying to track down the killer and are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

While the NYPD has not yet revealed a possible motive for the killing, the country’s largest health agency said insurance company has come under criticism in recent months. It is the focus of criticism in particular because of the allegedly unlawful rejection of claims.
