A 76-year-old woman found dead early Friday on a historic Bucks County farm property, suspected of suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning, has been identified as Dayle Haddon, who had a successful career as a model in the 1970s and 1980s and later served as a UNICEF became ambassador.

Just after 6:30 a.m., a 911 call was placed for a 76-year-old man who was unresponsive and located on the first floor of a “detached office/in-law apartment” on a property in the 6900 block of Phillips Mill Road.

The man, who was not identified, was transported by the Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance and Rescue Squad to a New Jersey hospital for treatment, police said.

According to police, a 76-year-old woman was found dead in a second-floor bedroom. The Bucks County Coroner’s Office identified the woman as Haddon.

The New Hope Eagle Volunteer Fire Company detected high levels of carbon monoxide in the building, according to police.

Two paramedics were taken to Doylestown Hospital to be treated for carbon monoxide exposure and a Solebury Township police officer was treated at the scene, police said.

The incident was investigated by the Solebury Township Police Department.

The farmhouse belongs to actor Marc Blucas and his wife Ryan Haddon, daughter of Dayle Haddon.

Dayle Haddon is from Montreal, Canada and has been featured on many magazine covers including Vogue Paris, Cosmopolitan and Sports Illustrated.

A 2003 New York Times profile of Dayle Haddon said at the time that she represented the French cosmetics company L’OrĂ©al and appeared in beauty segments for CBS The early show.

The Times described her daughter Ryan as a television producer who was then married to actor Christian Slater.

In 2008, Dayle Haddon founded a charity called WomenOne, dedicated to the education of girls and women.

Blucas appeared in and had a recurring role in various films and television shows Buffy the Vampire Slayer as a love interest for the title character.

It was unclear whether Blucas or Ryan Haddon were on the property during the alleged carbon monoxide incident.
