This year there will be two separate versions of the charts, one for DraftKings and one for FanDuel. The information is the same, but the website prices are different. The links to these charts change daily, so you will need to obtain the new links from the current day’s DFS chart post.

HOW TO READ THE CHARTS

Implied totals

The implied totals for all games of the day included in the DFS main directory. Implied totals are the number of goals each team is expected to score based on Sportsbook’s line of play and total. Typically, targeting the players on teams with the highest implied totals is a good place to start.

Matchups and Matchup Score

Matchups are based on historical data about how a home team sets up its lines in 5v5 play. The percentage is the projected percentage at which each line should be relative to other lines.

The matchup score is calculated based on the difficulty of each matchup and the expected number of matchups per line. Each line’s matchup is weighted against all other matchups on the list and given a score from 1 to 100, with 100 representing the best matchup for offensive success.

Line statistics

Line stats show each line’s offensive and defensive stats. O-Score and D-Score represent all metrics in one number, weighted against the other rows on the table. The higher the O-Score, the better that line is offensively. The same applies to the D-Score. You want to target lines with high O scores opposed to lines with negative or low D scores, which is shown in the matchup score above.

In this example, TBL1 is the best offensive line on the list and is expected to spend around 29 percent of its ice time against NYR2, which is the worst defensive line on the list. This is a match that you would expect TBL1 to dominate tonight.

Line stack rankings

Using each line’s expected TOI, the matchups, and the stats of both and their opponents, we get a number: 5v5 score. It indicates which line on this list has the best chance of high offensive performance. We also integrate each line’s Power-Play xG to give you a comprehensive overview of each line’s expected production. This also includes the prizes for all three players on the line and a prize for the full line stack.
