This was what several social media users claimed late on Sunday evening American Airlines left an “entire” flight to Miami because “90%” of the passengers were wearing MAGA hats. MAGA stands for “Make America Great Again” – a slogan that is at the heart of President-elect Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign. The airline has not yet responded to these claims.

“BREAKING: American Airlines cancels entire flight to Miami because 90% of flight was wearing MAGA gear. Development…” US Army veteran Douglas Macgregor posted on X, a platform formerly known as Twitter. However, he did not support his claim with any evidence.

“American Airlines just canceled an entire flight to Miami because 90% of the passengers were wearing MAGA hats. Really crazy,” another person added.

“American Airlines reportedly canceled an entire flight because 90% of passengers were wearing MAGA clothing. Commercial airlines are subsidized by the federal government with U.S. tax dollars, so you have the right to free speech. TO DENY this would require criminal prosecution.” “Violation of civil rights,” a third person said in a tweet.
