Bruno Mars is reportedly from Honolulu and has Puerto Rican, Jewish, Filipino and Spanish roots, while Evan Mock was born in Waimea Bay and is of Filipino and American descent, the South China Morning Post reports.

This connection sparked playful reactions from fans, who speculated that Rose had a “type.” “She has a type…” one fan joked.
