I don’t want to take credit for the person, but I talked about it and it was the easiest thing to do,” Rose explained, according to Koreaboo.

But it’s not all tears and heartbreak. Songs like APT. Bring a lighter, more playful side to the album with none other than Bruno Mars. The two artists developed a bond during the creation of the song and their camaraderie continues to delight fans.

Both have Filipino roots and were born in Hawaii. Bruno Mars is reportedly from Honolulu and has Puerto Rican, Jewish, Filipino and Spanish roots, while Evan Mock was born in Waimea Bay and is of Filipino and American descent, the South China Morning Post reports.

This connection sparked playful reactions from fans, who speculated that Rose had a “type.” “She has a type…” one fan joked.

“Your lucky charm,” added another.

As fans eagerly await the full release of “Rosie” today, December 6th, there’s no denying that Rose has mastered the art of combining personal stories with compelling music.
