Eagles and Cowboys players fight in the tunnel after the game, three are thrown out of the game

Three players in the Philadelphia Eagles’ 41-7 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday were not on the field to watch the clock hit triple zeros as the team in Kelly Green secured the NFC East title.

Eagles safety Sydney Brown and Cowboys cornerback Troy Pride Jr. and wide receiver Jalen Brooks were all ejected from the game after a Philadelphia punt with 2:32 to play.

When the three players were in the end zone, Brooks and Brown began the skirmish. Then Pride intervened. Brown dragged Pride into the tunnel and tackled him to the ground. It took me a moment or two to get things under control.

NFL officials threw flags during the game and each of the three players involved was sent to the shower early.

Brown had one tackle in the game. Sunday’s game was his tenth appearance this season.

Pride is in his first season with the Cowboys. It was his first time playing for Dallas. Brooks split time between the offensive and special teams. He has 11 catches on 29 targets for 165 yards and a touchdown this season.

The Eagles defeated their NFC East rival a few minutes later. Kenny Pickett was 10 of 15 with 143 passing yards and a touchdown pass, but left the game with a rib injury. Tanner McKee came into the game and threw two touchdown passes.

Eagles running back Saquon Barkley surpassed 2,000 rushing yards in a single season with 167 yards on 31 carries.

The Eagles moved to 13-3 on the season while the Cowboys fell to 7-9.
