Encouraging update on Dak Prescott’s injury for the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football

The Dallas Cowboys are still fighting for their pride despite being eliminated from the playoffs early Sunday.

For months it was a long shot that they would even make the postseason, but by Week 16 there was still an outside chance. That’s a testament to the team’s character, as their season seemed lost when Dak Prescott suffered a torn hamstring in a loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

During their Sunday Night Football game, they continued to show their character by taking an early lead over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Even more encouraging was seeing Prescott walk without crutches for the first time. According to NBC’s Melissa Stark, this is a new development as Prescott just dropped it last week.

Since the surgery, Prescott has been adamant that he would be willing to take OTAs, and according to Stark, that hasn’t changed. He still believes he will be there in April and even says he should start in about a month.
