Falcons vs. Vikings Injury Report: It is questionable whether Mike Hughes and Ruke Orhororo will play this week

Thank God it’s Friday. Both the Atlanta Falcons and Minnesota Vikings held their final practice of the week and announced who might and might not play on Sunday. We’ve been monitoring both teams’ health all week, so let’s take a look.

You can expect injury reports here every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Atlanta Falcons

QUESTIONABLE:

• CB Mike Hughes (neck)

• DL Ruke Orhorhoro (ankle)

OUT OF:

• RB Jase McClellan (knee)

Minnesota Vikings

QUESTIONABLE:

• OL Dalton Risner (back)

• DL Harrison Phillips (back)

• LB Patrick Jones II (knee)

• LB Andrew Van Ginkel (hamstring)

• K Will Reichard (foursome)

• LS Andrew DePaola (hands)

OUT OF:

• CB Stephon Gilmore (hamstring)

The Falcons only have one player out this week as running back Jase McClellan is dealing with a knee injury. However, they have two players who are questionable: cornerback Mike Hughes, who has a neck problem, and defensive lineman Ruke Orhorhoro, who hopes to return to action after suffering an ankle injury and being sidelined for weeks. We’ll know more before Sunday’s game.

The Vikings will be without veteran cornerback Stephon Gilmore, who suffered a hamstring injury. They have several players whose play is questionable, but one notable addition to today’s report is defensive lineman Harrison Phillips, who has a back issue he’s been battling.
