Fans spend Christmas Day thronging ahead of the Steelers game

Fans get up early on Christmas Day and huddle before the Steelers game

While most people slept soundly on Christmas morning, Steelers fans woke up bright and early to close the gates. Some said they were up at 5 a.m. “I mean, it was a piece of cake. I mean, we just opened presents yesterday just so we could get out of here all day. I mean, we’re going to win the Super Bowl.” “So it doesn’t matter,” Peter Breski said. One fan said attending the game was at the top of her Christmas list. “Well, I’ve never been to a Steelers game and those are my two favorite teams.” So I begged and begged and begged and “Then they surprised me with the game,” Bryn Lahew said. “Others didn’t let the distance stop them from watching the monster match between Kansas City and Pittsburgh.” “Not, everyone would be here for Christmas, let’s.” I just plan on going somewhere for Christmas. “Well, she’s a big Chiefs fan and I’m a Chiefs fan while we’re in Illinois. So we decided we’d just go here for Christmas,” Tony Duenas said. In true morning tailgating style, fans traded their hot dogs, burgers and fries for eggs, bacon and pancakes. However, the Christmas spirit did not subside. “Yes, it’s nice. You know, just going out and doing things with everyone. “I still have a great time celebrating Christmas and watching the Steelers get a win,” Breski said. “I think it’s a lot of fun. “I can’t believe we actually made it because we usually spend Christmas very much at home with the rest of the family,” said Kelsie Duenas.

“Not, everyone wanted to be here for Christmas, let’s just plan to go somewhere for Christmas. Well, she’s a big Chiefs fan and I’m a Chiefs fan while we’re in Illinois. So we decided, hey, let’s just come here for Christmas,” Tony Duenas said.
