Defending champions Manchester City face Juventus in the group stage of the FIFA Club World Cup next summer, while Chelsea face Brazilian side Flamengo.

Pep Guardiola’s City, which beat Brazilian side Fluminense to win the tournament for the first time in 2023, begins its title defense against Wydad of Morocco and also plays Al Ain of the United Arab Emirates in Group G.

Chelsea, winners of the 2021 final, were also drawn in Group D alongside Mexican Club Leon and Tunisian club Esperance Sportive de Tunisie.

The revamped FIFA Club World Cup, expanded to 32 teams, will take place in the United States from June 15 to July 13 next year.

A complex and lengthy draw ceremony took place at two different locations in Miami, lasting more than 90 minutes, during which a new Club World Cup trophy was unveiled.

There was also a video message from future US President Donald Trump, whose daughter Ivanka drew the first team.

Inter Miami will face Egyptian club Al Ahly in their opening match in Miami at the Hard Rock Stadium.

In Group B, Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid met, while Bayern Munich face Benfica in another all-European group stage game.

The teams play each other once in the group stage and the top two finishers advance to the knockout stage.
