Florida woman accused of stabbing victim over a tip for a pizza delivery driver

A 22-year-old woman is charged with attempted murder and trespassing after officials say she stabbed someone because she gave a fake tip to a pizza delivery person. Brianna Alvelo was arrested Monday following the Sunday evening incident at the Riviera Motel on E. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said. Arriving officers found the victim stabbed multiple times after ordering pizza from a local restaurant earlier that evening. OCSO says Alvelo “was upset about the size of the tip she had received” and later returned to the victim’s motel room with an unknown male suspect. The man was armed with a firearm and forced his way into the room. Alvelo, who was armed with a knife, began attacking the victim, OCSO said. The victim was taken to the hospital and is stable. Alvelo faces counts of home invasion with a firearm, attempted murder, kidnapping and aggravated assault. She was booked into the Osceola County Jail without bail, OCSO said.
