Former Lions draft pick shines with historic first half in return to Detroit

DETROIT – A former one Detroit Lions The draft pick has a historic first half in his return Ford Field than that Buffalo Bills take a 21:14 lead at halftime.

Allen came into halftime completing 14-19 passes for 254 yards and two rushing touchdowns to take a 21-14 lead, but Johnson was his favorite target.

Johnson caught four passes for 95 yards, including three for 20 yards or more.

He joins the former Chicago Bears speedster Tarik Cohen (2018) are the only players to achieve such success.

The 27-year-old tailback was selected in the sixth round (186th overall) in the 2019 draft.

Johnson played two seasons with the Lions before the New York Jets claimed him off waivers in 2020.

After a few seasons, Johnson signed with the Bills in 2023, where he played starter James Cook.

With the Lions in a potential shootout, let’s see how the second half plays out in what experts are calling a Super Bowl preview between the two powerhouses.
