Former Orlando Magic G League player Janis Timma has died at the age of 32

Former Orlando Magic G League player Janis Timma – who spent most of his professional basketball career overseas – has died. He was only 32.

According to Russian mediaTimma’s body was found outside the entrance to a residential building on Monday… and the initial cause of death is believed to be suicide.

Timma’s death occurred at the hands of his ex-wife Anna Sedokovabirthday… and the Ukrainian singer addressed the tragedy in an emotional social media post.

Timma received numerous accolades throughout his career…including dunk contest wins, All-Star appearances and championships.

He most recently signed with Liga ACB’s Monbus Obradoiro in February.

Timma got his chance in the NBA when he qualified for the Magic in the 2021 Summer League. Timma also played for the organization’s G-League affiliate.

“Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family and everyone who was close to him,” the Magic said in a statement.
