Game Day Information – UCLA vs. Fresno State

The UCLA football team hosts its regular season finale against Fresno State in the Rose Bowl on Saturday, November 30th at 12:30 p.m. PT. The Bruins will celebrate Senior Day and honor veterans and the military as part of Saturday’s festivities.

Saturday’s Senior Day festivities begin at 11:55 a.m. PT, before kickoff.

Halftime entertainment There will be a performance by the UCLA Marching Band on Saturday. Other In-game entertainment Program items include a California High School Football Hall of Fame celebration, a senior tribute from the UCLA Marching Band and Spirit Squad, performances by the UCLA Dance Team and UCLA Bruinettes, and a presentation for the UCLA Veteran of the Year Award.

The game will be televised on the Big Ten Network. Fans can listen to radio on AM 570 and SiriusXM on channel 372.

Parking lots for UCLA vs. Fresno State open at 6:30 a.m. Parking is sold by the City of Pasadena for $38 per car in advance and $43 on game day and can be purchased here. Fans are urged to plan ahead and book parking online to receive a $5 discount off on-site prices. The RV parking area is located on West Drive. There is no overnight RV parking available.

Game day parking is also available in the Parsons Complex parking lot in Pasadena. Access to the property is at 100 W. Walnut Street, off Fair Oaks Avenue. The free shuttle runs continuously from three hours before the start of the game until one hour after the end of the game. Parking in the Parsons lot can be purchased on-site on game day for a maximum of $24.

The Rose Bowl, ranked the No. 2 college football stadium by ESPN in 2024, offers one of the best tailgating experiences in college football with a variety of options for pregame celebrations including tailgate parties, food vendors, activities and exhibitions, beer gardens and more.

The “Area H” Fan Zone is open to all fans from 8:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and is located in Lot H, just outside Gates A and B. The Fan Zone offers a variety of exciting game day experiences, such as tailgating parties, food vendors, Activities, exhibitions, beer gardens, musical performances and more.

Bruin Walk – Fans are encouraged to cheer on the Bruins as they arrive at the edge of the Area H fan zone on Rosemont Avenue and walk through the fan zone into the Rose Bowl Stadium at Gate A. The Bruins are scheduled to arrive in Area H at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Gates to the Rose Bowl open at 11 a.m. There will be a joint performance with the UCLA Spirit Squad and Alumni Band at the Court of Champions at 11 a.m. Fans are asked to be in their seats by 11:30 a.m

Honorary captains for Saturday’s competition include Akeem Ayers, Carl Jones Jr.Adarius Pickett, Mike Sherrard and James Washington.

Ayers was a standout linebacker on the Bruins’ roster in 2008-10. Ayers shared the team lead in sacks (4.0) in 2010. To cap off the season, Ayers returned an interception two yards out for a pick six with just over six minutes left to take the lead and help UCLA to a 30-21 victory over Temple in the EagleBank Bowl. He finished his career with three defensive touchdowns. Ayers was named Second Team All-American and First Team All-Pac-10 in 2010 before being drafted in the second round by the Tennessee Titans.

Jones Jr. returns home after playing on defense for the Bruins from 2019-23. He finished his career with 91 total tackles (61-30-91) in 38 games and helped UCLA to a 35-22 victory over Boise State in the LA Bowl last year in his final season. Jones Jr. is currently on the Chicago Bears practice squad.

Pickett, a defensive back, played 50 games in four seasons at UCLA from 2015 to 2018 and finished his career with 274 total tackles. In his final season, Pickett recorded 123 tackles, the 15th most by a Bruins defensive back in single-season school history. It was the first 100-tackle performance by a UCLA defensive back since Dennis Keyes in 2007. Pickett was named All-Pac-10 Second Team in 2018 before signing with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent.

Sherrard was one of UCLA’s best wide receivers in school history, playing from 1982 to 1985. He finished his playing career ranked first in the UCLA record books in catches with 128 and receiving yards with 1,965 (he now ranks 13th in both categories). Place). Sherrard was UCLA’s leading pass catcher in each of his junior and senior seasons with 709 and 722 catches, respectively. He helped the Bruins to big victories in the 1985 Fiesta Bowl and the 1986 Rose Bowl.

James Washington, a defensive back for the Bruins from 1984 to 1987, ranks third in UCLA history with 15 career interceptions and seven in career tackles with 347. Washington played a key role in UCLA’s 1985 Fiesta Bowl win over Miami, securing his fifth interception of the year to earn Defensive Player of the Game honors. The next year, Washington helped shut down the Iowa Hawkeyes’ offense and helped secure UCLA’s 1986 Rose Bowl victory. Washington finished his UCLA career as a two-time All-American.
