Gerard Butler leads a diamond heist in the trailer for Den of Thieves 2: Pantera

Lionsgate split the finale Den of Thieves 2: Pantera Trailer for the upcoming 2018 action thriller sequel to Den of Thieves. The film is currently scheduled to hit theaters on January 10, 2025.

“Big Nick (Gerard Butler) is back on the hunt in Europe and gets on the trail of Donnie (Jackson), who is caught up in the treacherous and unpredictable world of diamond thieves and the infamous Panther Mafia as they carry out a massive heist on the world are planning the largest diamond exchange,” says the official summary.

What happens in the trailer for Den of Thieves 2: Pantera?

The video heralds the return of Gerard Butler’s Big Nick and O’Shea Jackson Jr.’s Donnie Wilson. It shows Big Nick preparing for his next big heist, which involves the largest diamond exchange in the world. Other cast members include Evin Ahmad, Meadow Williams, Salvatore Esposito, Swen Temmel, Michael Bisping, Orli Shuka, Cristian Solimeno and more.

Den of Thieves 2: Pantera is once again written and directed by Christian Gudegast, who reportedly spent time with investigators and notorious thieves to prepare for the sequel. The project was first announced in 2018 following the theatrical release of the first film, which grossed $80 million at the global box office. The sequel will be produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson along with returning producers Tucker Tooley and Alan Siegel. Diamond Films’ Meadow Williams is also an executive producer alongside Glenn Feig.
