Hagel scores 2 goals for Lightning in win against Kraken

Brayden Point and Jake Guentzel each had a goal and an assist, and Nikita Kucherov had two assists for the Lightning (16-10-2), who have won four of their last five. Jonas Johansson had 21 saves.

Brandon Montour scored a goal and Shane Wright had an assist for the Kraken (15-15-2), who have lost two of their last three (1-1-1). Philipp Grubauer had 26 saves.

Montour gave Seattle a 1-0 lead with a power play goal at 4:24 of the first period, firing Eeli Tolvanen’s drive from the point past Johansson’s blocker and into the goal.

Hagel made it 1-1 at 8:16 of the first period by directing Nick Perbix’s shot from the right point over Grubauer’s glove.

Point gave the Lightning a 2-1 lead with his 20th goal of the season at 13:21 of the first period, beating Kraken forward Matty Beniers with a rebound and punching it through Grubauer’s five-hole.

Guentzel made it 3-1 with a power play goal at 4:03 of the third period, firing a deflected point shot from the air. It was Guentzel’s fourth goal in two games after he scored a hat trick in Thursday’s 8-3 win at the Calgary Flames.

Hagel scored an unanswered goal at 16:08 of the third period to make it 4-1.

Declan Carlile scored his first NHL goal with a wrist shot from the left circle under Grubauer’s glove at 19:38 to make the final score 5-1.
