Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen hint that they are engaged

Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen appear to have taken a big step in their largely private relationship.

In a joint Instagram post shared on Friday, Allen is seen on his knees in front of a massive floral arch while Steinfeld leans down and presses her forehead to his. The two are surrounded by cylindrical candles, with the sea visible in the background.

The couple didn’t specifically announce that they were engaged, simply captioning the photo: “♾️ 11•22•24 ♾️.”

USA TODAY has reached out to the couple’s representatives for comment.

Oscar-nominated Steinfeld, 27, and the Buffalo Bills’ star quarterback, 28, have mostly kept their relationship secret, only making it official on Instagram in July after more than a year of speculation.

Rumors about the couple began circulating last spring, and one of the first times they were photographed together was on a night out in New York City in May 2023. In one of the photos, Allen had his arm around the Hawkeye’s back. Actress laid.

On July 23, ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics, Allen gently addressed his relationship in an Instagram post that began with a photo of him and Steinfeld looking away from the camera and toward the Eiffel Tower.
