Lady Dash believes Jay Z is the reason why Beanie Sigel’s career didn’t go as planned.

The former Roc-A-Fella manager, who has been vocal about his feud with Jay-Z, recently criticized Hov for the way he treated Sigel during Roc-A-Fella’s tumultuous breakup.

“That hurt,” Dash admitted, reflecting on how much he had invested in Sigel’s career. “I have done a lot. I chose State Property over Roc Wear.”

Dash accused Jay-Z of “tricking” Sigel, claiming, “It’s almost like (Jay) tricked Beans to put him on ice. “To me, he ruined his life.”

The entrepreneur envisioned Sigel as his “New Jay,” a successor who would carry on Roc-A-Fella’s legacy, but felt that Jay-Z was sabotaging those plans.

“The shit I had planned for him, he beat himself up for it,” Dash explained.

He revealed big ambitions for Sigel, including films and a clothing line, and intended to grow the brand Philadelphia native and Cam’ron to the vice presidents of Roc-A-Fella for leveraging their labels for greater success.

Dash compared Sigel and State Property to NWA and believed they had the potential to dominate pop culture. Despite their argument, Sigel later expressed his own frustration with Jay-Z and posted this 2009 Diss track “Go away.” However, the two reconciled 2015 during a joint concert performance.

Reflecting on the missed opportunities, Dash lamented, “He could have been a superstar if he had stayed with me.”
