Hellebuyck supports the United States squad in the four-nation duel

The United States has announced its squad for the four-nation face-off, headed by the reigning Vezina Trophy winner.

Connor Hellebuyck of the Winnipeg Jets will be between the posts for the Americans, who also selected goaltenders Jeremy Swayman and Jake Oettinger.

Other notable players added to the team include Jack Hughes of the Devils, Brady Tkachuk of the Senators and JT Miller of the Canucks.

The 17 players announced for the team on Wednesday are joined by Auston Matthews, Matthew Tkachuk, Jack Eichel, Quinn Hughes, Adam Fox and Charlie McAvoy, who were previously named to the roster.

The 4 Nations Face-Off is a new international best-on-best tournament featuring teams made up of NHL players from Canada, Finland, Sweden and the United States. The tournament will take place February 12-20 in Montreal and Boston and all games will be available on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+.
