Here are the three big headliners

The lineup for Kilby Block Party 2025 – Utah’s hometown festival – is here.

And there are some surprises.

Next year the Kilby Block Party will be expanded to four days, starting May 15th and ending May 18th. In the past, the festival only lasted three days.

According to a press release announcing the 2025 plan, this change will allow the festival to “expand its footprint” at Fairpark and create additional space for things like water stations and places to relax and dance. The festival will also use the Days of 47′ Arena for one of its smaller stages to reduce “audio bleeding.”

There are currently 75 artists scheduled to take to the festival’s stages, with three artists yet to be finalized.

The headliner on Thursday is the English rock band New Order; Friday’s is the Baltimore-based indie band Beach House; The rock band Weezer plays on Saturday; and on Sunday it’s the electronic duo Justice.

Other artists on the bill that people may know include Julien Baker & Torres, Built to Spill, St. Vincent and Wallows.

Last year, music publication Stereogum called the Kilby Block Party the “real deal.” Every year, fans from all over the country flock to Utah to attend the festival. The press release estimates that over 25,000 people came to the festival each day last year.

The Kilby Block Party was launched in 2019 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of legendary local music venue Kilby Court, which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary. Many of the artists who performed at the block party also performed at the garage. The venue was recently sold, but the new owner promised to keep Kilby as is.

Sales of a 4-day block party pass begin Wednesday at 10 a.m. Mountain Time. All packages are available at KilbyBlockParty.com
