Here’s how to watch tonight’s CMA Country Christmas special

Looking for a reason to sing some Christmas carols? Good news: The Country Music Association is airing its annual holiday TV special, “CMA Country Christmas,” this December.

Since the hour-long special first aired in 2010, the country’s biggest names have performed Christmas hits and classics. This year, the “CMA Country Christmas” special celebrates its 15th anniversary and features exciting performances to mark this milestone.

According to a press release from the CMA, the special was filmed in Nashville in front of a live studio audience and features performances from a range of genres, including gospel music and country-pop.

“CMA Country Christmas” airs Tuesday, December 5, 2024 on ABC at 8:00 PM ET/PT and 7:00 PM CT.

The special will air first on ABC and then be available to stream the next day on Hulu or Disney+.

Who will host?

For the second year in a row, the CMA Country Christmas special will be hosted by country stars Amy Grant and Trisha Yearwood.

In addition to hosting, the two will perform Grant’s “Sing Your Praise to the Lord” and Tom Stacks’ “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.”

According to the Country Music Association, they will also have solo performances, with Grant singing “Tennessee Christmas” and Yearwood performing a “fun and festive Christmas medley.”

The Country Music Association has released a full song list for the hour-long special.

• King & Country and Carin León will perform “O Come, O Come Emmanuel.”

• Current CMA Awards winner Cody Johnson will perform “White Christmas” and “I’ll Be Home for Christmas.”

• Ashley McBryde and Brittney Spencer will perform “Man with the Bag.”

• Jon Pardi will perform his song “400 Horsepower Sleigh.”

• CeCe Winans will perform “Joy to the World.”
