BALTIMORE – Something had to give as the Eagles faced the Ravens in an offensive duel on Sunday.

The Eagles posted a 14-1 record in their last 15 games against AFC teams through the midway point of the 2021 season, Nick Sirianni’s first game as Eagles head coach.

On the other hand, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is 23-1 in his last 24 starts against NFC teams, returning to his rookie season in 2018.

But it was the Eagles who cruised to a 24-19 victory thanks to Saquon Barkley’s 107-yard rushing game. That included his 25-yard TD run with 7:56 left that gave the Eagles a 21-12 lead. The Eagles later added a field goal and Baltimore scored the final touchdown with three seconds left.
