Home Alone star Daniel Stern has left Hollywood to live a quiet life on a farm

Despite starring in one of the most popular Christmas movies of all time, the lead actor is Daniel Stern – who is best known for playing one of the Wet Bandits, Marv classic holiday film from 1990 “Home Alone” – prefers a quiet life away from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood.

Earlier this week, Stern, who spends most of his time raising livestock and creating sculptures on his farm in Ventura, California, gave fans a sneak peek into life since retiring from the entertainment industry.

“Hello, as you’re about to notice, I live on a farm and we grow tangerines here,” Stern said in a TikTok video that has since garnered a lot of attention.

“I juice them, then freeze them and give them away to my friends,” he continued, before giving viewers a glimpse into his workspace.

In addition to caring for his citrus and livestock, Stern is also a respected artist.

In another video, Stern showed off an impressive sculpture he has been working on that depicts a woman lying on a chair.

“Incredible work of art! I had no idea you were a sculptor,” one fan commented.

Earlier this year, Stern, who released his memoir Home and Alone in May, spoke about his successful work in the industry.

“I almost screwed up a few times,” he told the Los Angeles Times about certain career moves.

In fact, Stern, who starred alongside Joe Pesci and Macaulay Culkin in Home Alone and Home Alone, said he left the role of Marv because of “the stupidest decisions in my show business life.” almost missed.”

Stern said he initially backed out of the deal due to contract disagreements. The role was recast, but after a few days of rehearsals, producers urged him to come back.

He is eternally grateful for that.
