Friday’s center duel in the game between the Memphis Grizzlies and the New Orleans Pelicans featured two of the NBA’s most productive rookie centers.

Grizzlies center Zach Edey made a big splash in the preseason as a potential rookie of the year, but it’s Yves Missi who has overtaken Edey in the eyes of oddsmakers.

If Friday’s game was any indication, the odds could be shifting towards Edey again. The Grizzlies’ rookie singled out Missi as Memphis defeated New Orleans 132-124 on Friday night.

Missi finished the game with six points, six rebounds and four blocks. Edey was one rebound shy of his second straight double-double after totaling 21 points and 16 rebounds on Thursday.
