Hyatt signs licensing agreement with Venetian Las Vegas: Travel Weekly

Hyatt Hotels Corp. has signed a long-term licensing agreement with the Venetian Resort Las Vegas, expanding its Las Vegas footprint by 7,000 rooms.

Under the agreement, both the Venetian and its sister resort, the Palazzo, will be bookable through Hyatt’s channels, including its website and mobile app. Additionally, World of Hyatt loyalty program members will soon be able to earn and redeem points at both hotels, with Venetian Rewards elite members receiving World of Hyatt program benefits.

Both Hyatt and Venetian Resort also plan to collaborate on meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE).

Mark Vondrasek, Hyatt’s chief commercial officer, called the Venetian a “perennial favorite,” adding that the partnership comes as demand in Las Vegas is high among Hyatt Group’s business customers, who are “requiring more rooms due to the global crisis demand than before the pandemic.” world-class entertainment and unique experiences that this dynamic destination offers.”

Hyatt is expanding its expansion in Las Vegas

The Venetian Resort, which recently cost $1.5 billion to renovate, is home to several entertainment and nightspots, including Sphere at The Venetian, TAO Nightclub and Voltaire. It also features a Canyon Ranch Spa and a five-acre pool and garden terrace.

The property is also known for its culinary scene and features restaurants led by celebrity chefs Wolfgang Puck, Thomas Keller and Tetsuya Wakuda.

The Venetian Resort is the second Las Vegas casino resort to join the Hyatt family this year. The Rio Hotel & Casino officially transitioned to the Destination by Hyatt brand last March.
