“I made a mistake,” commented AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts

After his comments went viral, Graham, who is currently injured due to a torn triceps, tried to put the toothpaste back in the tube. He clarified to ESPN’s Tim McManus that he had made assumptions about the relationship between the QB and WR that were incorrect.

“I made a mistake and assumed it was something that wasn’t the case,” Graham said. “I just want to win so much that I don’t want to just use the media when we need to talk about something and we can solve the problem ourselves. I haven’t done anything good, so this is my disadvantage.” .

“I just accepted it and it made me look even worse because I had done everything wrong and now people are going to run away with this thing. I really just want to win, man, and I want brothers to just be able to hash it out.

Graham noted that he would apologize to Hurts and Brown for his off-the-cuff comments.

The 36-year-old veteran said his original intention was to make sure talk of the Eagles’ difficult passing game didn’t get in the way of their current streak of success as a team. Graham didn’t want Brown or other teammates to air their grievances in the media, but he ended up making an even worse misstep.

“I didn’t want to be divisive. I just didn’t want us to use the media badly,” he told McManus. “And that starts with me too. I can’t do that either. If I have something, I also have to go to people instead of just feeding it like I did.”

The Eagles (11-2) are on a nine-game winning streak, although the passing attack isn’t living up to their standards. Considering how bad last year was, Graham’s comments will turn heads, but that shouldn’t detract from her abilities on the field.
