Ian Rapoport trolls Adam Schefter and responds: “Craziest place he’s ever told a story”

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport posted an Ask Me Anything (AMA) on Reddit earlier this week and we were not disappointed.

In what has quickly become the most popular question for NFL insiders, a smart Reddit user asked the NFL Network insider to name the craziest place he’s ever posted a story. Rapoport used the first part of the response to troll another insider, ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

“I don’t say bedroom,” he replied.

This answer referred to Schefter’s appearance on a podcast last week when he was asked the same question. He simply replied that he was just getting done…being with a woman…when he received a text message that Dale Carter had been suspended for drug abuse.

However …

Rapoport continued.

“I really love it, it’s one of my favorite things about my job because news comes from anywhere at any time,” Rapoport said. “Chair lift, car wash, Kentucky Derby, club, shower, pool, vacation. When Ryan Ramczyk got his contract extension, I was snorkeling in Saint Thomas. As long as you have internet, you can spread news from anywhere. If you don’t answer the phone, they expect me to answer every time. They ask themselves, ‘Why didn’t you answer?'”

At least we know it now. If you call Rapaport, he will answer.

And Schefter, unfortunately, too.
