The New York Jets always seem to find a way to disappoint, and they stuck to that formula in Week 13 against the Seattle Seahawks.

The Jets (3-9) got off to a surprisingly good start. With a big lead early on, New York looked like it would put a dent in Seattle’s playoff hopes.

Instead, after the first quarter in the 26:21 final, errors and mistakes became common and no more points were scored.

Here’s Jets Wire’s instant analysis of Week 13:

Final result: 26-21

With five minutes left, the Seahawks stormed through Zach Charbonnet for the go-ahead shot from eight yards out. What stands out, however, is Rodgers’ final pass attempt.

As fans are used to, Rodgers made progress late in the field but couldn’t make it in the end. He’s 0-for-5 in potential game-winning scenarios with the Jets, and his last attempt was just a duck he vomited in the end zone. It fell incomplete.

With former Jets quarterback Geno Smith at the helm, the Seahawks left New York by handing Gang Green its ninth straight losing season and its 13th in the last 14 seasons.

Same old jets with this kind of loss and circumstances combined.
