‘Incredible’ Wataru Endo and Harvey Elliott among three outstanding Liverpool players – Liverpool FC

This was a night that perfectly illustrated Liverpool’s backup quality, with so many standout names left out.

Admittedly, the performance wasn’t always convincing, but players like Endo, Morton and Elliott in particular showed their class.

If Liverpool want to fight in all four competitions this season, Slot will need to rotate effectively to avoid tired legs in the spring.

Based on these findings, that shouldn’t be a problem as the Reds are now unbeaten in 20 games in all competitions for the first time since 1996.
