It’s one of Microsoft’s biggest games of the year and it’s almost here – Indiana Jones and the Great Circle releases Sunday, December 8th. It will be available exclusively on Xbox and PC until sometime in spring 2025 – then it will also be available on PS5.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was first released in 2021 and was developed by MachineGames, the studio responsible for the Wolfenstein titles as of 2014.

The primarily first-person adventure is an original story set between the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade (The Temple of Doom is technically a prequel). Set in 1937, Indy will once again trot around the world and punch lots of Nazis in the face, so you can prepare to enjoy it.

As for the titular “Great Circle,” MachineGames, Bethesda, and Microsoft have kept this a secret for now so as not to spoil the surprise, but trailers seem to suggest that it has something to do with the curvature of the Earth and multiple locations connected via a connection has single line.

“Indiana Jones and the Great Circle” will be released on December 8th or 9th, depending on what time zone/region you are in.

Yes, if you own an Xbox and have already subscribed to Game Pass Premium, the game can be pre-installed and will be playable upon release.

Can you play Indiana Jones and the Great Circle earlier?

And yes, if you upgrade to the Digital Premium Edition, you can get in on December 5th, three days early.
