India’s Pink Ball Test Record: Most Runs, Wickets, High Scores Ahead of Border-Gavaskar Trophy Match | Cricket News

India will play only their fifth pink-ball Test when they face Australia in the second Border-Gavaskar Trophy at Adelaide Oval on Friday.

This will be India’s second day-night Test match away from home, with the last overseas match in 2020 also taking place at the same venue. In hindsight, this particular game would have been one the Indian fans would have preferred to quickly forget, but now it has happened. Because of what happened afterwards, I remembered it almost fondly.

India’s first pink-ball Test match was against Bangladesh in 2019. The historic game took place in the Eden Gardens in Calcutta, which the Indians won comfortably.
