Is Path of Exile 2 down? Dungeon crawling is the spice of life, but PoE 2’s grinding servers certainly aren’t. Troubleshooting network problems is a hassle at the best of times, but it’s even worse when you and your friends are trying to get back to Wraeclast for another loot hunt.

Path of Exile 2 server status

The Path of Exile 2 servers are currently still offline. This is despite the fact that The Path of Exile 2 servers were scheduled to go live on Friday, December 6th at 11:00 AM PT / 7:00 PM GMT, the game’s official launch time.

The official Path of Exile forum page is currently still displaying this message, even though the game is already supposed to be online.

“We are making some last-minute database upgrades to help accommodate the overwhelming volume of Exiles preparing to log into Path of Exile 2. “We’re trying to get this done as quickly as possible, but there may be a short delay in the server going live,” Grinding Gear said in a tweet posted shortly before release.

In a new update on social media, Grinding Gear confirms: “We have deployed the new database configuration and are working to get everything up and running again. According to our current time estimates, access should be open within the next half hour.” This has been updated Published 11:32 a.m. PT/7:32 p.m. GMT. So expect the situation to improve shortly after 12:00 PM PT/8:00 PM GMT.

Server issues seemed inevitable when Path of Exile 2 launched. The developers even posted a short video about how big the numbers are ahead of launch, warning that there will likely be queues at launch due to the large influx of players. This turned out to be true, as there were over 150,000 waiting patiently (or probably impatiently) on Steam alone by the time it was supposed to go live.
