For example, Walt Disney Pictures’ Wish premiered in theaters in November 2023 and was available on Disney+ just over three months later. Likewise the animated blockbuster Inside Out 2 was added to Disney’s streaming platform more than three months after its theatrical release. Last year’s live-action remake of The Little Mermaid The film also followed a similar schedule, landing on Disney+ about three months and nine days after its theatrical release.

Plans start at $7.99 per month for the basic option (with advertising). Currently, Disney+ does not offer a free trial.
