The US stock markets will be open on December 24th, Christmas Eve, but with limited hours. All markets will be open during normal opening hours on Thursday, December 26th.

The New York Stock Exchange will close on Tuesday, December 24th at 1:00 p.m. EST (1:15 p.m. for eligible options) and will remain closed on Christmas Wednesday.

According to the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association, the U.S. bond market will close at 2:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday, December 24th and will remain closed on Christmas Wednesday.

Some currency exchanges will close earlier today and remain closed tomorrow for Christmas.

  • London Stock Exchange: Markets begin closing at 12:30pm London time.

  • EuroNext Paris:

    • All stock, single stock dividend futures and index options close at 1:55 p.m. CET

    • All index futures and commodity derivatives close at 2:00 p.m. CET

    • All Single Stock Futures close at 2:05 p.m. CET

  • Hong Kong Stock Exchange: Open from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Hong Kong time or UTC+08:00.

The Shanghai Stock Exchange and Tokyo Stock Exchange will remain open during normal hours this week.
