Chains like 7-Eleven, Wawa and Sheetz are typically open on Christmas Day, but hours may vary from a typical Wednesday.

Many CVS and Walgreens locations are open, but hours may be limited.

Some smaller stores or specialty markets may have limited opening hours. Chains like Wegman’s, Acme and Whole Foods are typically closed on Christmas Day, although some regional franchises like ShopRite may have limited hours.

Some chain restaurants such as Denny’s IHOP and Applebee’s may be open to guests on Christmas Day.
