Isaac Guerendo and Nick Bosa questionable for Week 15; Injury report before #LARvsSF

Thursday night’s primetime matchup could mark the return of some standout defensive players for the San Francisco 49ers. Defensive lineman Nick Bosa (hip/oblique) and linebacker Dre Greenlaw (Achilles) were listed as questionable on the team’s final injury report this week. On Wednesday, Bosa was upgraded to a limited participant in the team’s walkthrough activities for the first time since aggravating his hip/oblique injuries against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 11. Meanwhile, Greenlaw is in the third week of his practice window from the reserve/physically unfeasible list. While the 49ers have not yet decided whether to add him to the 53-man roster, the option remains open as of Monday.

“There is a possibility of activating him for the 53-man roster,” head coach Kyle Shanahan said earlier in the week. “We’ll see. I haven’t spoken to him yet, so we’ll see when he gets here (Tuesday), how he feels, how training goes on Tuesday and Wednesday and then make our decision.”

The head coach reiterated the team’s approach ahead of the team’s activities on Tuesday.

Rookie running back Isaac Guerendo’s playing status is also listed as questionable. He’s battling a sprained foot suffered in the game against the Chicago Bears and was a limited participant in Wednesday’s walkthrough. If Guerendo is unable to start against the Rams, Patrick Taylor Jr. will lead the 49ers’ ground game.
