“J. Cole will reissue “2014 Forest Hills Drive” with unreleased songs for its 10th anniversary.”

J. Cole brings his fans another new release, this time his third studio album. 2014 Forest Hills Drive which will contain unreleased bonus tracks.

On Friday, Cole announced that he is celebrating the 10th anniversary of his critically acclaimed third album with a special re-release in physical formats. The reissue will also feature several additional songs from this period that fans have not yet heard.

“The 10th anniversary of Forest Hills Drive 2014 is approaching. Vinyl/CDs of unreleased songs that almost made it onto the album are available,” he tweeted along with a link to his online store.

There are two different versions of this 2014 Forest Hills Drive Re-release. The first is a “10 Year Anniversary Edition,” which includes a blue version of the original cover and four new songs: “Home Soon,” “Die Together,” “Judgment Day,” and “Winter Wonderland.” The second is an “Alternate Cover” edition with new artwork and several additional bonus tracks, including “Keep Heaven Dancing”, “Miles”, “Black Man In Hollywood” and “Obviously”.

Only 2,014 copies of the “Alternate Cover” vinyl are available to celebrate the title of the groundbreaking album. The 2014 Forest Hill Drive The reissue will be released on December 6th, just before the album’s 10th anniversary on December 9th.

Cole’s manager and long-time friend Ibrahim Hamad spoke about the reissue on his X-page, showing fans that the “Alternate Cover” edition had already sold out. He also revealed 2014 Forest Hills Drive was originally intended to be a double CD album.

“2014 Forest Hills Drive (10th Anniversary) Vinyls and CDs available now. We also added a few joints that you’ve never heard before from the making of this album. I can’t believe we never released these songs. Type in. http ://Inevitable.live/shop,” Hamad tweeted. “If you watch the FHD episodes of ‘Inevitable,’ you’ll see how this alternate cover was supposed to become the actual cover and until we convinced Cole. You’ll also learn that FHD was once a double album, so the bonus songs on the vinyl were once potential album songs.

Cole’s announcement comes with the news that he will be performing the album in its entirety at Madison Square Garden on December 16 to celebrate the anniversary.
